The terms that govern your use of WPSubstrata and our services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to anyone who uses the WPSubstrata website (wpsubstrata.com) or engages our infrastructure services ("the Service"). By using the Site or the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service is provided by Viktor Chikarovski, trading as WPSubstrata ("we", "us"). We are an individual business (sole proprietor) based in the Republic of North Macedonia.
WPSubstrata provides WordPress infrastructure setup and migration, plus optional ongoing server management. We offer three plans:
Each engagement is scoped individually following a free call. The specific deliverables, timeline and price for your engagement will be confirmed in writing before any work begins.
The free call is provided at no cost and carries no obligation to proceed with a paid engagement.
The 3-day test. Before any payment is due, we build your new server and move a copy of your site onto it, and you get 3 days to test it on a private preview. Your current site stays live and untouched during the test. You pay only if you are satisfied and approve the setup after the test. If you are not satisfied, you pay nothing and we delete the preview.
Email. Email is a one-time migration, not an ongoing service. Where needed, we move your mail to a dedicated email service in your name and carry over the DNS settings. After the move, you manage your mail yourself, and your email provider supports it.
Server costs. The server itself is rented from a third-party cloud provider (currently Hetzner Cloud) in an account under your name, and its costs are paid directly by you to that provider.
Pricing for each engagement is confirmed after the call and agreed in writing before work begins. Payment terms will be outlined in your individual service agreement.
How to pay. The WPSubstrata setup fee and the Managed monthly fee are invoiced directly by us and paid by bank transfer or through a payment service such as Payoneer or Ruul. We will confirm the exact method and details with you before any payment is due. Purchases of WPSubstrata Deployer and server care for Deployer are handled separately through Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record.
Self-Managed. The one-time setup fee is charged when you approve the setup after the 3-day test. It covers up to 5 sites; extra sites are $49 each and extra mailboxes migrated are $15 each, one-time.
Managed plan. Billed monthly in advance, starting when you approve the setup after the 3-day test. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Extra sites are $49 each and extra mailboxes migrated are $15 each, one-time.
Agency / Partner. Pricing and billing terms are agreed individually and confirmed in writing before work begins.
Taxes. For services invoiced directly by us, the price shown is the total you pay. For purchases made through our payment processors (WPSubstrata Deployer and server care), VAT is added at checkout where applicable, based on your billing country (including EU, UK and other regions).
Self-Managed setup. You pay only after your 3-day test, and only if you are satisfied. If you are not satisfied, you pay nothing and we delete the preview server. Because payment is made after you have tested and accepted the result, the setup fee is non-refundable once paid.
Managed plan. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments for billing periods already started, including the first month, are non-refundable. When you cancel, the server stays yours, with everything on it.
Agency / Partner. Refund terms are agreed individually and confirmed in writing before work begins.
WPSubstrata Deployer. If Deployer does not work as described, contact us within 30 days of purchase. We will first try to help you get your deployment running, and if we cannot, we will refund you in full. Refunds do not cover problems unrelated to the script, such as your Hetzner account, your domain, or changes made to the server after deployment.
Server care for Deployer (optional). You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. Months already billed are non-refundable.
Upon completion of the setup and full payment, you receive full ownership of your server environment, including root access, credentials, and documentation. The server is transferred into your own cloud account. WPSubstrata does not retain administrative access to your server unless explicitly agreed as part of the Managed plan.
Server hardware is rented from a third-party cloud provider (currently Hetzner Cloud). You own the environment running on it, but the underlying hardware infrastructure is subject to the cloud provider's own terms.
WPSubstrata Deployer is a downloadable software product sold through Gumroad. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and may be used on an unlimited number of servers.
Refund policy. If Deployer does not work as described, contact us within 30 days of purchase. We will first try to help you get your deployment running, and if we cannot, we will refund you. Refunds do not cover problems unrelated to the script, such as your Hetzner account, your domain, or changes made to the server after deployment.
Deployer is provided as-is. You are responsible for the servers you deploy it to, for any costs charged by your cloud provider, and for maintaining backups of your data. Free support covers the script itself; help with your server after deployment is available as a paid service.
You are responsible for:
WPSubstrata is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or website downtime.
Our total liability to you in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that engagement.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
All content on the WPSubstrata website (copy, design, and code) is owned by WPSubstrata and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Any custom configuration, scripts, or documentation we create as part of your engagement become yours upon full payment.
You may cancel the Managed plan at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We may end the Managed plan with 30 days' written notice. When you cancel, the server stays yours, with everything on it. One-time Self-Managed engagements are governed by the individual service agreement.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone who uses our services for illegal purposes or in a way that harms others.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia. Any disputes will be resolved before the competent courts in Skopje.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
